In Volcancito, on the slopes of Barú Volcano, coffee grows within a landscape that deserves your full attention. The estate sits at elevations ranging from roughly 4,900 to 6,600 feet, in the highlands of Boquete.
Don Pepe Estate Coffee traces its family coffee-growing history to 1898. Knowing that adds another dimension to the visit. The coffee fields become part of a story that is still being written.

The tasting brought the visit together. After walking through the estate and learning about its processes, the coffee felt connected to a place and to the people who care for it.
